Bunnies in jackets with brass buttons..

So the initial idea behind me starting this blog was purely for the traders of the kindergoods section to promote their goods etc. and post cool pictures of their goods and other things of interest relating to kids/ babies/ toddlers.

So its decided, that im going to do my best to compile a must have list for kids based on what i think every baby/ toddler/ kid should have, the list starts today. Please forgive me as my opinion can sometimes be a little bias, but i tend to only shop for boys (my nephew) as for girls. I am working on branching out to the more girly side.

At the top of the list is the Peter the Rabbit cup, bowl and plate set, i know that it doesn't really fall under the "locally made" rule but i think every kid should have this when growing up.

Peter Rabbit - one of my personal heroes since childhood.

The second thing i have to admit i didn't find all by myself it kinda came to me,
they are not only "educational" but also just so beautiful and hand-made that it was a no brainer choosing them as my number 2 on the ever growing list of "must have".
MOKO Puzzles made by Dagmar Wijnen, she will be starting at the kindergoods section soon so don't despair i am trying my best to find and bring the cool back to growing up with wooden toys.

To be continued..

Im finally an uncle..

So i have always been fond of kids right, but when i finally became uncle 3 months ago i was as proud as my sister the mother of the baby. So since the birth of Nuah i have noticed that no matter where i am, 'im immediately drawn towards baby clothing, kids toys & Miss Potter ceramic sets etc. Lingering around the kindergoods section on Saturdays have not helped my current "Nuah must have this" syndrome but none the less have a look at some products that you can buy at the kindergoods and i'm sure you'll understand my situation.

So now there is even more reason to come don to the Neighbourgoods Market on a Saturday morning and now bring the kids along..
